Financial Service company joins with mortgage company to complement each other's services

The ribbon cutting celebrated Nicole Financial Services' opening of a branch office of VanDyk Mortgage at 2 Executive Park off Illinois Route 203.
VanDyk is located next to Nicol Financial Services.Nationally, VanDyk has 150 offices and 600 loan operators. The main offices are located in Grand Rapids, Mich.
VanDyk was established in 1987 by president and CEO Thomas VanDyk.
It is a full-service mortgage broker approved with Fannie Mae as a seller and service lender with several major lenders.
VanDyk has dealt with Wall Street investors on a secondary market, and the company has retained and serviced more than $350 million loan portfolios, as well as traded mortgage backed securities.
"It's this ability to deal directly with the conduits that allow us to offer such competitive products and pricing," VanDyk said.
Kevin Nicol, president of Nicole Financial Services, is the branch manager of VanDyk Mortgage.
He said VanDyk is a complimentary asset to his business.
Nicol shares the responsibilities of VanDyk Mortgage with Assistant Branch Manager Linda Nolan and Loan Processor Karen Beasley.
"Proper debt and mortgage management is a vital component to any financial plan," Nicol said. "Many individuals look just at investing or insurance, but managing liabilities is every bit as important as asset management. Nicole Financial Services (Agency) was founded in 1981, celebrating its 26th anniversary this year. The agency's directive is to independently and educationally offer full financial services to clientele.
Nicol Financial Services, located at 1 Executive Drive, continues to expand.
Because of future expansion, Nicol bought a property next to his business that was vacant.
